Great looking functional jacket.
I've owned multiple marmot jackets (also other major mfgs) over the years and will say I'm pretty pleased with this one. It does feel like it could be a little oversized; however being a little more stout it puts it right on the money for me. I'm 5'9 / 200lbs with a longer arm reach, 46 chest and it's spot on and boxy for my wide shoulders. Most of my t-shirts are XLs. If you are a little thicker it's definitely true to size. The waist is drawn in, but wide enough where it's still comfortable. Arm length is great. I've had it for about 2 months now and have worn it in snowstorms and -10 below weather and have been warm in a t-shirt. It's big enough where I can still layer a sweatshirt underneath and not feel to cramped. The material is thinner which helps with the weight and I haven't noticed any major feather loss. I'd definitely rate this a great cold weather jacket for most applications. Not quite as warm as my Rab Neutrino, but it's perfect for 95% of Colorado weather.

Does Not Disappoint

This checks all the boxes! Lightweight w/o the bulk & generous warmth w/800 fill. The length is perfect, falling slightly below the waist & fit is true to size. My only recommendation - add a outer zip chest pocket & it'll be perfect!

Snug as a Bug
I really like the fit of this jacket. It’s very warm and not overly bulky - looks great. I wouldn’t mind a zipper breast pocket for sunglasses or other small items but not a big deal.

Best travel jacket *****
Excellent all around jacket, I've used this jacket, to travel on the plane wore the jacket in three national parks I get many many compliments on the jacket . I stuff in its pocket stuff sack use a carabiner on my backpack when I flight I will be taking it with me to Indonesia to climb a few dormant craters . High recommended this for my fellow travelers...

Nice comfy jacket
This jacket will work well for me. I like skiing and this will fit underneath my GoreTex jacket; fit into my backpack or be perfect for winter driving, getting to the ski areas. And it has the perfect amount of loft needed for the most efficient down warmth I require. Not too big or small. I don't see anyone else making such a product. Marmot always fits me and fits it's purpose, too. I also worked outside my entire life as a Surveyor, and I was Never disappointed, cold or wet.

Buy it, you'll like it!
Best jacket I've ever owned!! It's very, very light in weight but boy is it warm. During the 2022 "bomb cyclone" I was toasty warm and not even chilled! Best buy I've ever made!
