Precip Eco Pro

I've been very impressed with the durability and quality of this jacket so far. The fit is perfect—roomy enough to comfortably layer underneath, which is ideal for outdoor activities. I really appreciate the pit zippers, which add excellent breathability during more intense activity. The only thing left to test is the waterproofing, but everything else about this jacket makes it feel like a solid choice for outdoor adventures.

More than a rain jacket

I bought this jacket as a raincoat, and it is a fine raincoat. But I have taken to using it as my everyday jacket, rain or shine, this fall. I love it.

It’s a Marmot.

I was very pleasantly surprised. The pro model is one step better than the precip model. The entire jacket is like a hardshell. I owned an arcteryx sv jacket and it fit really well and looked great. The same with this jacket. It’s a very handsome cut. You can use it any time of the year (temperature permitting) and where it as a casual well dressed look. Even more importantly when outdoors I will go miles and many other jackets would act like an oven. This coat is very breathable and substantial enough to be worn in the depth of winter just using several under layers. What impressed me was how well Macys packed the Jacket. It did not have any wrinkles. Looked crisp and folded in such a way to eliminate any creases. Well done Macy’s. And it’s a Marmot. A real mountain jacket. Nothing more needs to be said
