Comfy and lightweight

I wanted something warmer than a hardshell but still slim & lightweight for hiking and skiing and this jacket is perfect. I find it has plenty of room for layering in my usual size. Love the pit zips for dumping excess heat or allowing for some extra room and mobility if needed. The outer fabric has a nice soft feel, not crinkly. It's so comfortable to wear even with just a t-shirt. Wish the powder skirt was removable but its lightweight so not a huge problem. Definitely recommend this jacket!

Great jacket great fit

Got this for my wife for Christmas and she loves the fit and all of the pockets. She's 5'7 with an athletic build and it keeps her very warm. Haven't gone skiing yet, but can't wait to try it on the slopes. It looks great on her too!

Great jacket

Great cut. Flattering and TTS. I lived in it during a recent cold snap in Georgia but will wear it skiing in British Columbia where I’mfrom. It feels warm with a light base layer but I could fit a little puffer underneath on colder days. Very happy with this purchase. Marmot ticks all the boxes for me. Technical gear that’s not overpriced and is flattering. It’s also not noisy, which is why I avoid my Arc’Teryx jacket.

Sizing a bit snug

A bit on the snug side. I’d recommend large if you normally wear medium and will wear a sweater underneath. However, you’ll be fine with a base layer and just the jacket. Super warm!

Women’s Refuge Jacket

This is a very quality coat without “breaking the bank.” I am very pleased with the unique color, the fit which is true to size, the numerous features of the coat, and most importantly, the warmth for many winter activities! I’ve thoroughly enjoyed my coat since receiving it and will definitely look at Merrell for future winter products.

Overall great jacket

Love the color and many pocket options. It is a bit narrow at the bottom for curvy hips otherwise would have given it a 5 star rating.
