Absolutely frustrating and poorly made

I was so excited to add the Martha Stewart Charlton Floor Lamp to our space, but the reality was incredibly disappointing from start to finish. The assembly was a nightmare, and what should have taken a few minutes turned into a major headache, not to mention mention it didn’t feel stable at all — the whole thing wobbles. The holes in the metal didn’t line up and when shoved together they felt like they were already stripped. We never fully got the piece together - it’s half way back in the box because now the pieces that we did get together won’t come apart. For the price paid, I expected so much better. If you’re thinking about this lamp, I’d strongly recommend looking elsewhere unless you want to wrestle with metal and become wildly annoyed. I have no doubt there are better-built, easier-to-assemble options out there that won’t leave you regretting your purchase like we are.
