Looks Great If You Receive It In One Piece!

I ordered two of these pie keepers a week or so before Thanksgiving, one for my wife and one for my daughter. The two boxes were placed in another shipping box which offered no protection against breakage. The first one I opened was in pristine condition and looked great so we wrapped the other one up (without inspecting it for damage) as a gift for our daughter since she was hosting the Thanksgiving Dinner yesterday at her home. To my dismay the plate portion was broken in 3 pieces and that didn't come as a huge surprise since the manufacturer only places a styrofoam block between the ceramic lid and plate with no protection other than the thin cardboard it was packaged in which means without any protective foam between the box and the ceramic pieces. Too bad I didn't read another reviewer warn of this issue with her purchase. Luckily Macy's is great about making it right and shipping me a replacement very soon according to the CS Rep that I spoke with this morning. Nothing against the CS Rep but I wish these American companies would stop outsourcing these CS positions out of the USA - it very hard to understand them at times.

Wonderful for thanksgiving dinner pies

Very cute pie holder for Thanksgiving. We were most pleased with it. Caution however, the first one arrived broken, so allow enough time to get another one before the holiday. The second one arrived OK, however.
