Good Timer

Works well in the oven and good on the BBQ also. Has never let me down with under cooked or over cooked meat.

Accurate but confusing set up

Confusing set up of buttons. I have to look up directions each time but once set the item works fine.

Worked great

It worked great, until it wad accidentally stored inside the grill and melted the entire unit.

Probe wire easily breaks

I thought this thermometer was easy to use so after it broke the first time I purchased it, I thought I would like the same one and purchased it again. I used the probe wire with the new and old thermometers and found that it was the probe wire that had broken and would no longer read. I used the thermometer today and found that the probe was reading 50 degrees too low on both thermometers. I still like the thermometer, but Is useless without a good probe.

Okay

This works okay, but cheaply made so not great for the long term. Worth the additional cost to buy the excellent OXO thermometer.

Meat Thermometer

So far a great thermometer that had all the features that I was looking for. This thermometer is the first one that I have owned with a leave in probe and I don't know why I have waited so long to buy one. This is great just set a desired temperature and you will be notified by an alarm when the temperature of your meat is within 5 degrees! Too easy! Another added feature is the nice bright backlit screen. It doesn't stay on forever but that would just shorten battery life anyway. Just hit a button to light the screen up to help with setting the device.
