Loved it and bought a backup

I have tried many thermometers and always felt they were inaccurate. I like this one so much-I bought another as a backup. Meat turns out perfect

Not built well

the cable does not last long, I have only been using the item off and on for about 3 months and it doesn't work anymore.

Silly temperature setting style!

I used it once for a turkey, but could not set the timer for a particular temperature, only for a particular kind of meat. Since I didn't want their "turkey" temperature, I ended up having to set it on something like lamb or veal. How silly! But it did seem to measure the temperature accurately on that one use.

Great temperature tool

Glad I bought this item . Got tired of opening oven to see temperature, so this works for me.
