Very poorly designed!

I am very disappointed with this garlic press, I thought Martha Stewart's products would work well, unfortunately that's not the case with this garlic press. When you use the press, about 50% of the garlic squeezes up around the sides of the press. I have to pick the pieces out, put them back in the hopper, only to have about half of that squeeze out again. By the time I've gotten the garlic pressed, my hands are covered in garlic juice and there are still pieces of garlic that won't go through the press. I find its just easier to chop the garlic than deal with this poorly made press.

Great Garlic Press by Martha Stewart

I am very pleased with the Martha Stewart line of cookware, bakeware and kitchen tools. This garlic press is an addition to my Martha Stewart collection of kitchen tools. I am very pleased with the quality of this product.

Not worth the money

Ok, first of all, I wanted a metal garlic press. Had one for years, and it finally broke, replaced with a cheap plastic one from the grocery store, and I think it broke in two days. So, this fit the bill. The thing is, it's not substantial. And, do you see that little black think in the picture? After you use the press, you're supposed to put that in the holes to remove the debris. Seriously? How long do you think it's going to take to lose that? My other garlic press had that built into it. So, it does the job, I'm just not impressed. And we use a LOT of garlic!
