Great edition to our Halloween Decor.

I ordered online today and picked up at the store today. Our whole family loves it! We have a large collection of pumpkins and this works into the Halloween Decor perfectly. I am not using it as a cookie jar. Cookies disappear so quickly in our home that I would not bother but as a decor item it works great. I ordered and then read some of the reviews. I thought the paint job was going to be awful. Mine was quite nice. There are small imperfections but I am very pleased with it especially for the price paid.

Poor quality...disappointing

This looked adorable online but it arrived chipped, poorly painted and the lid does not fit securely on the bottom. Very disappointed in the painted finish and the overall quality. Very sloppy finish. Looked more like something picked up at a flea market than from Macys. Will be returning.

Could be better

I purchased and then returned this cookie jar. It is more grey than it appears in the picture. Would have preferred black. It is a great size. However, the painting is very poor. I could not overlook the patchy paint. Usually Martha Stewart items are of a better quality. May have been my bad luck on this particular jar.

Spooky Martha Fun!!!

This cookie jar is so fun! Just the right size and has a lot of character. It is hand painted so there will be some variations which I liked because it gives the item more character and depth. A must have for any Martha or Halloween fan!!!

Very cute but they sent me a damaged one

This cookie jar is a great size, very cute and I love the color scheme. However, the one I received had been "repaired" in various spots on the lid with mismatched gray paint. It must have been chipped up at some point after the glazing process and they swiped some light gray paint on to "fix" it. I don't believe an item purchased at Macy's, that is not on clearance, not listed as defective or as-is should arrive with such obvious flaws in it. It is one thing if something gets damaged in transit, that happens all the time and is beyond Macy's control. This was sent to me already damaged and poorly repaired. I am returning it and am disappointed because it is super cute. I would suggest purchasing this at the store only so you can make sure you get an undamaged one.
