Sometimes you look back on your childhood to generate ideas for children's gifts. MMH seemed like an appropriate exploration of "magic" for my 11-year old relative. Over 150 tricks - reasonably priced, and the backing from MM as the world's premier merchant of magic - delight younger and older enthusiasts. But the props are small scale and take patience and practice to work. The booklet has simple illustrations that can be confusing. It's best to have an adult work with a youngster on understanding the illusion principles before interest wanes. I didn't have enough time to assist on all tricks or download the app for the virtual reality content. The set can be overwhelming; the booklet separates tricks into major categories: cards, coins, balls, spikes, etc. But the props could be better associated to the tricks by numbering each in separate packaging. I stil consider this a wonderful gift.
