I gave these only a 3 star because the finish on the frames are terrible. I would strongly avoid the soft matte black frames as they will peel and leave a sticky residue. I spend several hours on the water fishing and these are by far the best lenses I have ever owned. Both my wife and I love Maui Jim’s but do not purchase these frames unless you want to risk them peeling and becoming sticky. I am on the hunt for a new pair as my one lens shattered tonight on a tree branch . Saved me but lenses didn’t fair to well.

It’s my second pair. I love the optic but the mate coating of the frame failed after 3 years on both pair. it became all sticky. Stay away from the mate black rubber ( soft touch).

I like how the glasses wrap around and offer good protection, however they are very heavy and quite uncomfortable to wear for a long time. They also don't sit on top of my head like normal sunglasses do. I wouldn't buy these again.

Love these glasses for Fly Fishing in the West. I used to use an0ther popular brand that most fly shops sell. I was convinced to try these, and I will stick with Maui Jim from now on. Great coverage and the lenses are awesome. I'm pretty tough on shades and i have zero scratches in the lenses after a couple of years of use.

Love these especially the lens. They do get a bit sweaty at the nose any recommendations to help with this would be appreciated looking to add another pair what would you recommend to stop this ?

Love my sunglasses. There were so many to choose from.It was a very hard decision. So I ended up getting the ones to make me look like a race car driver.LOL

off the shelf- thin glass lens provides great clarity and no spherical distortion in the periphery . Great fit and side protection.
