Runs small

I wanted some tank tops to work out and wear in general. I ordered size XL and while it fits me width wise, I found the length of the tank to be quite small. Generally with cotton shirts I upsize so that when they are washed, even with the shrinkage the shirts will still fit. Even though I upsized this tank, it was still too small after shrinkage (especially noted when you lift up both of your arms all the way and the shirt exposes your lower abdomen). My regular size is L, I buy XL when upsizing. I think a 2XL would be fine for an adult that typically wears Large in this case.

Better but not perfect.

Compared to the Hanes Essentials Men’s Muscle Tanks, these are better. They’re softer, don’t shrink much in the wash, & the arm holes are bigger. Main flaw is that the arm holes still need to be slightly bigger. If you plan to wear these to work / the gym, be prepared for these shirts to collect all your armpit sweat.
