sizing is off

Twice I have ordered hat size 7 7/8, and twice I have received a hat that is labeled and tagged as 7 7/8, but is actually seven and three-quarter. I know this, because I own several hats correctly tagged, and when I tried on my sons 7 3/4, it fit exactly the same as the two hats that I purchased. I will be returning this one as well. I don’t know if it’s the fault of new era or Macy’s, but somebody screwed this up, big-time!
