Macys Error and the bottom is plastic - Not Rubber
The shoe design is beautiful. But the bottom is plastic and not rubber. As the macys shipping employee thought it would be a good idea to send me the Floor Display I can not adequately say if the shoe smells of leather or not or how long it took for creases to appear as god knows how many people wore them first. The delay of the refund is even more so upsetting. The design is a 5 , the quality is a 2.5 at best. Macys solution was a 0. Time consuming and much more effort then the purchase as reviewing hundreds of shoes was at my own leisure/efforts.
Excellent Lasting Shoe
This is an excellent shoe. I had a previous pair that lasted years of frequent use… and I went looking for this shoe. I was disappointed that they no longer offer the cognac (lighter-‘leather’) color. This shoe is a darkish brown with a toe that transitions to almost black. It looks good… and I love the ‘boot’ish look with jeans and easy on easy off! But I do miss that other color! If not for the loss of color option this shoe would be a 10 on a 5 scale.

My second pair!
My second pair of this shoe. The first pair lasted a looong time. I wore them as a pair of work shoes (a teacher/on my feet a fair bit). After all the years, the heel and outsole were worn. The insole and uppers still looked good! So, I got another pair. The styling is flexible from casual to dress. Very comfortable and lightweight

Leather no longer stretches to fit feet
I have been wearing these shoes for years, size 9 W, but they no longer fit. After buying the 9W size recently, I ordered the 9.5W size. That I could wear but is not comfortable because the leather does not stretch anymore. You never seem to gave the extra wide available on your site.

Excellent pair of shoes! Very comfortable!
These are great shoes. This is the second set of them that I have purchased and worn. I had a pair of the black ones before and wore them for about five or six years just about every Sunday for church. Nothing was wrong with them and they still function perfectly. The only reason I bought another pair was to change up the color of them and also to have a newer pair that isn’t as worn looking. I never had any problems with my previous pair and loved them. Very comfortable to wear and walk in!

Still reliable
This was my fifth or sixth pair of the SL2 slip on and most likely will not be my last. As long as Rockport continues to make this issue, I will continue to buy it due to its comfort, appearance and durability. Unfortunately, the shoe has been increasingly hard to find in my size and width, but the wait is always worth that ultimate purchase. I used to wear these shoes, only casually, but as office attire has become more casual, these shoes have become acceptable on a more daily basis. Looks like I’m going to wear them out more frequently!

Comfy and elegant
Bought them for my son. He liked them and didn’t complain. He normally complains when wearing anything other than sneakers.
