Do not recommend

cute but not heavy enough to hold anything but a lightweight, empty stocking. Fell off as soon as you add anything.

Stocking holder

It presents a modern look. It’s a nice change from the norm. Very nicely made.

Not Blue Enamel! Plain Cast Iron!

So the photo on my computer screen made me think this was blue enamel. It's not. It's just plain cast iron in that classic brown tone. Perfect if you have a rustic decor. I just happen to love blue. The back side, is not hollowed out. The tree part is almost an 1/8th inch thick. The base, however, is hollowed out. The holder is a reasonable weight but I have my doubts about it holding a fully loaded stocking. The tree part is solidly attached to the base and none of the four I ordered had any alignment or looseness issues. After getting over my surprise at the color I think I'll keep it.
