Rude Employee in Jewelry Department

I went to the jewelry department at the store in Destiny USA mall to return a ring because the size was incorrect. When it was my turn in line, the representative who was supposed to help me, Naglaa, was very rude. She told me she couldn’t process my return and that I needed to go to a different representative because I wasn’t making a purchase. I have never heard of such a rule. Another employee in the jewelry department saw me standing there for about 30 minutes. She politely asked the customer she was helping if she could assist me quickly, and they kindly said yes. She helped me right away she was very kind, respectful, and professional, and she apologized for what happened. I reported the situation to the supervisor, who was also very nice and had witnessed what occurred. I truly hope Macy’s addresses this kind of behavior, because employees like that can cause the store to lose customers.
