Large plates cracking in half

Lately I have lost it as to how the plates just crack in half and show signs of breached areas once it cracks. To date, three large plates have just cracked in half when either cleaning or going to pick the plate up. I don’t know if it’s the material that was used on the large plates or it’s just a defect on the batch I got… 3 plates gone, I have lost a whole set without the plates. I thought these were supposed to be high end but I will and don’t advise anyone to buy this brand or design. I need to read the reviews and see if anyone else has had this problem. Sad!

Poor Quality, Beautiful Design

We have enjoyed having this set the past 4 years but we have tired of replacing cracked dinner plates, 5 in total along with a couple of bowls and salad plates as well. The last time we replaced broken items, I over-ordered to protect against any accidental damage so that we would always have a full 8 piece set. The past 2 months we lost 3 dinner plates just taking them out of dishwasher, microwave oven and cupboard. The quality of this particular item is seriously flawed in compostion however beautifully designed. You never know when they will snap but eventually they will. Vegas won't give odds against it because they would lose ALL bets! The past 2 months we have lost an additional 3 dinner plates and we are are NOT talking accidental breakage. Just picking up plate, S-N-A-P!

Not as good as you think

These dishes are very nice looking, possibly nicer than the picture, but they are not very durable. I have only had these dishes for three weeks and five of the dinner plates already have noticeable chips on the edges (some dime size). I do wash them in the dishwasher, but for the price they should not be this fragile. These are not dishes for everyday use.
