Cute but runs small

I really wanted to love this bathing suit as I’ve been trying to find a replacement for one of a similar cut. However, the bands running across the stomach and around the back are super tight and pretty uncomfortable. Ended up sending back. For reference, I usually wear size 14 in clothing and ordered a size 16 suit. Thought about ordering another size up, but the top would have been too loose.
