I have been looking for a mat which would protect my old hardwood floor from my exercise equipment. The Mind Reader PVC mat is the perfect size to keep my bike, dumbbells, barbell, and kettlebells on. With my bike, I used to get indentations on the floor despite using a rubber mat. The PVC seems to protect the floor much better. It's thin, non-slip, and looks so much better than gym mats I've been finding. The only issue I had was trying to get the top part not to curl. It started laying more flat on a warm day so I think I should've used a low-heat blowdryer to speed up the process. Overall, great protection for the floors. For me, it's a great option for my small gym corner.

Unfortunately, I have medium/high pile carpet throughout my home so this didn't work as well as intended. Truly this is great for low pile carpets and any sort of solid non-carpeted surface. The design is absolutely beautiful and the quality truly is there. I can see this as a gorgeous addition to any home office.

My flooring in the bedrooms are all carpet. Since getting the mat, I’ve been able to step up my gave with an L shaped desk. My chair slides effortlessly across the floor area that is needed to use my computer and also paperwork. This mat does in fact protect your floor from the chair wheels and actually does stay in place very well.
