I am a professional chef, and this knife balances perfectly in my hand, the blade is super sharp and I have not had to sharpen it in quite awhile. When I am ready I plan on adding the 8 inch blade as well.

Fine chopped veggies

Well, this is my second Kaizen collection purchase. After I bought the 8” chef knife, I knew I had to slowly acquire the collection. So for Christmas I asked for the 6” extra wide rocking knife and it did not disappoint!

Wanted sharp knife, got double-edged sword

Surprisingly well balanced, this is a solid knife for beginners. The knife itself is beautiful and does the job.

Zwilling Employee

A shorter version of the Kaisen traditional 8" chef has a wider blade as well. This is ideal for chopping thru larger piles of food.

The 6 inch wide chef's knife is wonderful for every day use, particularly for someone who prefers a small chef's knife. This line is made of high quality steel with a very comfortable handle and nice Damascus pattern on the blade. It is a great mix of quality and beauty.
