Fits snug and small

I’m 5’9 185lbs. I normally where a 33 and 34 gives me a little wiggle room. I bought the 34 and it is a. It snug in the waist and hip area. I wanted these to fit a little more comfortably but they are not. I should have bought the 36 which would have given me the baggy look I was going for.
