Ordered 2 and only 1 worked

I think this is such an amazing gift idea but was very disappointed because I purchased two so both my parents could record their voice for their granddaughter and only one of them worked. The batteries were fine, but when I recorded their voices, it didn’t work. So I’m rating one star simply because the 2nd one didn’t even work but at least I managed to record their voices on the other one that did work.
