Love it except it’s not Midi , it’s Maxi length

I ordered this dressy skirt along with purchasing a dressy top in mind for an upcoming occasion I will be attending. I am pleased with the fit and fabric, but was surprised that this skirt was maxi length as it was presented both in the picture and the title and the description as midi. Because, I live in a rural area and it s very difficult to travel to a Macys ( 2 hours from my home) I had to bring it to a seamstress to be shortened. Ordinarily, I would hem it myself , but the skirt is two layers with the over layer being a chiffon type material and I don’t have the proper sewing devices to do it myself. This is now an extra cost.

Nice skirt

Nice skirt and can be worn at a dressy event. At last an A-line skirt! Most women don’t need all the folds and the Aline is definitely more slimming.

A maxi, not a midi.

This is advertised as a midi skirt. It is however, a maxi skirt. I am not a short person and it is not true to the advertisement.

Length too long for me

Really cute, but a small is full length on me (5’1”). If I keep it, It’ll have to be altered.
