Gala dress

I was looking for a gown for a gala. I found this dress on line. There are fewer stores to try dresses of this formal type since Covid so I was worried that it would be difficult. The dress fits perfectly and is modest. I was worried that I was going to have to make alterations. It fits true to size. I am excited to wear it

Hole in the dress

The dress itself was really nice. Nice, comfortable material and good fit. The only big problem was when I took it to alterations to get hemmed up, we noticed where Macy’s puts the tag (right in the middle of the dress) the little plastic that holds the tag created a small hole in the dress!! Luckily the seamstress said she could sew it up. I know that the tag is there to keep people from returning items after using it, but please place it somewhere else so it doesn’t ruin the material.

Comfortably Formal

I wore this dress to a wedding. The material is very flattering and forgiving. I’m 5’2 and 145lbs a medium petite fit perfectly. Washing instructions call for hand wash but I put mine in the delicate cycle and did just fine.
