Over two decades in and around the barnyard has taught us a thing or two about the type of materials needed in our footwear to stand up to the Acidic and Alkali elements found in and around barns. We have had success in using the rubber and neoprene found in the majority of our line, but we wanted to offer an alternative as well. So we pushed our design team to find a leather solution that holds up to our 100% MUCKPROOF standards and after years of experimentation we are proud to now offer a new Barn Leather Collection of boots that hold up to our high standards of quality and protection. The leather in these boots is not only Barnyard Proof but also resistant to fire and lime while being 100% waterproof. The outsole stands up to oil, gas and diesel fuel while being slip resistant on hard flat surfaces. All this while being supportive and comfortable as we wrapped all this technology around a footbed designed like the bucket seat of a pickup truck.

Sturdy Boots

The quality of these boots is off the charts, I love them so far. True test will be next hunting season, but for now I am really enjoying them!

Great boots for yard work

I purchased these boots for working in the yard. I found them to be very comfortable and so far, they are waterproof. I have EE width feet and these fit me well. Along with the good traction comes a tendency to collect and hold onto mud and wet soil. The lower cut seems to be supportive and easy to pour on and take off. If these boots are worn out or somehow lost, I would buy them again.

Multiuse

Incredible comfort and great looking. Quality leather can handle nasty outdoor work, hiking, snow. Held up well working stone with concrete. Just hose it off. Great footing. Use when chainsawing or goingbyo farmers market. Bought a second pair for future use.

Off fitting

Nice looking boot. But very uncomfortable. Oder the wides but there still not wide. Bought these cause I love the tall Leather ones. Had 2 pairs of those and there great. The fitment of these are not great for a wide foot.

While fit is personal, we can recommend trying a thinner sock to allow for more room with boot, or even swapping out the in sole for your favorite, if it is a bit thinner. Darn fine boot in every way conceivable

This Muck Leather Chelsea Boot is a welcome addition to the "Important Shoes I Wear" collection. The brown coloration under most lighting appears black. But catch the boot in the right light and it will reveal a very deep coffee ground brown. The comfort factor is five stars, although I will replace the insert foot pad with a brand I've relied upon for years because that support is what I am accustomed to in my boots. The construction, design, and style are great too. Wanting comfortable and stylish casual shoes and sturdy and functional boots isn't unreasonable. Muck Boot delivers with their Chelsa boot because it is stylish, sturdy, and comfortable. No buyer's remorse from me. Please note that when I wear my thick wool socks the boot is properly snug. If I wear a compression sock which is far thinner the boot's fit is looser. My one gripe is when I sought advice on care products to use to maintain the leather, Muck Boot left me hanging. Let me suggest a bit more attention to specifics and a bit of editing as I found contradictions in the care instructions during my research.
