muck chelsea slip on

4th purchase of muck boot products. these slip ons i purchased a half size smaller than normal because i planned to use them in milder weather conditions. back yard forays when the yard was wet and muddy. the boot is definitely NOT slip on. the elastic cap is very snug. were it not for the pull tab on the back of the boot i would be unable to wear. my arthritic fingers cannot spread the boot top wide enough to insert my foot after which the boot top folds down into the boot. again, not a slip-on by any means otherwise, a fine product, typical of all muck boots i've purchased.

Comfortable but..

They are comfortable but the strip across the top of the foot is extremely tight. Make it uncomfortable for wearing for long periods of time.

Great all around boot, Solid 4.5 Stars

Great boots, I've used them for hunting scouting and hiking the hills, swamps and woods in NH for the past two weeks beating the crap out of them, no issues and they've held up great thus far. They are very comfortable, though there's not a lot of support for those conditions and give your feet a great workout. they could use a better lugged sole for the hills but really are great for all around use. I normally wear a size 10, ordered a size 10, they were a little tight but only the first day and have fit great since. My foot is on the wide side. For all around use I'd give them a 5 star rating. For hunting and hiking in the leaves and hills of NH I give this model four stars, hope this helps.
