Yep, purchased yet another pair!

This is my third pair of Muck 'shoes'. I have worn out the soles of the previous two pairs. My main use is volunteering in Community Gardens. Many many hours devoted to growing produce for food pantries. Yes, I do wear them at home to water the plants and do small amounts of yard work. They sure keep my feet dry. Would I purchase another pair from the Muck Boot Co? Absolutely!

poor quality

In less than a year, my Mucksters have developed splits and leaked through cracks that have developed on the exterior where the toebox and footbed articulate. I've worn Muck shoes for the past 10 years without this problem.

Favorite Work Shoe

My husband loves his Mucks because he lives in the garden from late March to late November. This is probably his 4th pair. Thank you for making a comfortable, useful shoe that can take a beating.

low profile boot muck

I love these for my husband and guys. They really liked them but now they are made differently. Much narrower. Less width room. Tight at top. I have looked every where and have not found a similar product..

Horrible Design

I bought a pair of the ankle high boots, which are really comfortable and keep my feet dry. I was a little unhappy with how quickly the sole wore down on those (I did manage to get one whole season of daily dog walking out of them though.. so I guess I shouldn't complain) When it came time to replace them, I went with these lower profile shoes. I wore them twice. No problems. By the third wear, I developed a horrible blister, which left me hardly able to walk the end of my walk due to the pain. Upon closer examination of the interior of the shoe, I noticed a thick fabric seam going right down the center of the heel.(A seam that my first pair of the ankle boots didn't have) Now mind you...I am NOT by any means a shoe designer, but I wouldn't think you would need to be one to realize that seam is a recipe for total discomfort from the user. After just three wears, this shoe has been deemed unwearable by me, and will be going right in the garbage. Certainly NOT what I expect from the Muck Boot Co. Do yourselves a favor, buying public...and stear clear from this particular product.

Questionable processing?

I noticed that the bottom of the shoes appear to be burnt/charred in the middle of the sole. Why is this and will it ipact the durability of the shoe. Being familar with plastics and polymers this concerns me. tried to upload pictures and the link would not work.

Hello Paul, thank you for your review. I'm so sorry for the delay in our response. What you are seeing is likely due to the flocking process which helps create the slip-resistant outsole on this shoe. This can cause discoloration to the material due to the high temperatures and chemicals used in the process. I hope this answers your question!

My 3rd (or 4th?) pair

Perfect shoes for slipping on and walking the dogs around the yard or out to the mailbox. My last pair lasted about ten years. Much more comfortable than that Maine hunting shoe. Will buy another pair in a decade, give or take.
