Timeless Sapphire Earrings

Macy's brings back these earrings in different colored gemstones, as it should since they are classic. I have 2 pairs, one in rubies and another in blue sapphires, which I bought several years ago. They are my perfect everyday earrings. Not large stones, yet you get a lot of ear coverage with the drop of a row of stones. I love them and have gotten my money's worth as I wear them continuously (bought at the sale, not full retail price). I will say, that across the board, jewelers are skimping on the gold bumper (not sure what to call them?), i.e., the 2 ear backings we use to hold the earrings in our ears. They are so slight you must have nimble fingers to hold on to them to secure your earrings, which is true of these earrings also. I encourage jewelers to give more good for our money, backings that are more substantial.
