Beautiful but uncomfortable

I purchased this sofa in the Vibe Sunkiss fabric. I love the fabric color and texture. Unlike some of the other reviews, I have not experienced any pilling on the fabric. The build construction of this sofa is seems very sturdy and it is really a beautiful piece of furniture. Unfortunately, this sofa is not comfortable to sit on for extended periods of time. Since this is my only sofa I have to use several pillows just to make it possible to make it through a movie. I don't think that this piece was correctly h-pointed (hip height). It is also not great to have to shove pillows behind the backs of friends when I have visitors so that they can be comfortable.....and when I have older family members visit I usually bring in a fiberglass Eames student chair so that they can sit comfortably.

Really happy with this sofa

Macy's furniture is affordable and reliable. I got this to replace my last Macy's sofa, which had seen better days after 7 years of dog. The seat is wide and comfortable and doubles as a single bed in a pinch. The color is gorgeous as well. Definitely recommend.

Excellent purchase

Purchased this couch in a textured blue material - Solitude (special order). The couch was delivered when Macy's said it would be ready. The couch is gorgeous. I love the blue textured material. It is very comfortable and looks like it will wear well especially since you can turn the cushions over and rotate them. I feel that the price was right considering the quality. I bought the 5 year protection plan to be safe.
