Best foundation for oily/acne prone skin

As someone with oily acne prone skin this is my everyday go to foundation. It is transfer-proof has medium - full coverage, lightweight, soft matte long wearing formula looks natural , doesn’t oxidise and lasts up to 16 hours

Favorite Foundation - Needs a few things to be better

This foundation is by far my favorite foundation. After Mac discontinued prolongwear, it's the only one I've gone back to each and every time. I'm Just a full coverage girly I guess. My biggest issue is that even though texture wise this is probably the best foundation on the market for "normal-dry," (with proper prep of course) the claim of no oxidation is simply untrue, plus the neutral ranges are not neutral they pull orangey, and for a true neutral girly, that simply looks wrong. I have a light neutral/greenish undertone so I already have a hard time finding foundations. I would say their shade "yulong" in their other foundation is closer to a true neutral than "Mont Blanc." So I'm really hoping they come out with that shade in soft matte. It would be a godsend

Flawless & smooth

I bought this foundation few months back. I absolutely love the NARS Soft Matte Complete Foundation! It gives me a flawless, smooth finish that lasts all day without looking cakey or feeling heavy. As someone with combination skin, I really appreciate how it controls shine without drying me out.

Nice texture but too light.

Too light again. 😞 this is the third foundation I have bought online using the recommended choice but it’s just not working for me. I need to buy yet another one that’s darker to mix with it. However the texture is good for my mature skin.

Hello YuvalLiv, We appreciate your feedback. This formula has not changed. The best benefit is achieved when you use your fingertips to apply- we do not recommend using a sponge or a brush. The fingertips will provide the most flawless finish, as it helps the foundation to "melt" into the skin. As your skin adjusts and changes throughout the day, this will keep the foundation looking like natural skin. With that, we recommend patting and stippling over areas of texture like pores or blemishes. This is a full coverage formula, so minimal product is needed- start with a pea-sized amount, and add more if needed. If your skin requires additional care, we also make an array of primers that can address specific skin concerns and the look of your makeup.
