My daughter wears a shoe size 3, I bought the small that say they fit shoe size 3-5 and I can barely get the socks on her feet

Quick to wear out!

Purchased for my 4 year old and he loves them however two of the pairs have holes in them after 3-4 washes and the other pairs are also starting to look ratty! Not holding up well at all!
