Nike destroyed the best running shoe ever

Why mess with a good thing? Nike created one of the best running shoes EVER with The Vomero and then decimated it by messing with the design. It’s like a kindergartner painting over the Mona Lisa. Nike Vomeros have not been the same since the 12 and I’ve been forced to buy other brands. It was the only shoe I could wear that didn’t give me knee issues. Under foot when I tried the newest one on they still seem amazing, like running on air, the problem is with the redesign above the outsole. The heel notch is so high it digs into the crease at the back of the ankle when you run. The tongue is so hard (possibly from the label), it digs into the crease at the front of your ankle. Aren’t these sneakers being tested on runners?? There is no way any runner would be ok with this design and the continual negative reviews on every website confirm that. Nike PLEASE go back to your design from the 12 and prior.

Disappointed

Have worn Vomeros since the 11. They have always fit and felt perfect from day 1. The 14 is not as comfortable and does not feel like a Vomero at all. I returned the shoes (great policy Nike), and am looking for a replacement.
