Best actual running shoe for Women that Nike Makes as far as I know

This shoe does feel like its actually made for running, which is more than I can say for a lot of the other product here surrounded by confusing jargon that makes it sound like its a running shoe when its not. It's good for road running and on the treadmill, most of the women's trail shoes on here are garbage so I also wear this on a light trail. There is ankle support-seriously if a designer is reading this we need more actual ankle support, use this shoe as a guideline, it works- see how its pretty much sold out, please make more. The lace system is great (they are easy to tighten, or loosen on the fly), the cushioning is good. The only complaint I have is that it seems like they made room in the toe box by removing material in the sole instead of sculpting the top of the shoe, so the result is a weird arch feel and still not enough upward room in the toe box- this being said its still better than a lot of other things here, this one change would be so fantasic. Wish it came in some less basic/feminine colorations (more than two colors please). This shoe (like many practical running shoes actually made for running) is pretty basic looking, so I'd love to just wear a totally blacked out version because this one is not really about looking cool so I'd love to hide the details- also I'm going to run through mud, so black. Used to wear the Pegasus- over the years its gotten cooler looking but worse as a running shoe, so for me this is the new Pegasus, I would rather have it function well than look like a hypey lady. There are plenty other shoes that do that on here, please leave the actual running shoes out of the hype train.

Received with yellow stain

The shoes are great! Too bad I got them with a yellow stain like someone drew on them with a marker.

Great

I love this shoe. I'm a new runner and have been putting in around ~30-40 miles a week for several months. This shoe has been very comfy, great cushion. I plan to repurchase when my current pair wear down.

Found the shoe for training

i have narrow feet, these shoes are dreamy for all my training needs. I would not likely put them on for running but strength, core, lifting--these feel great! SO happy to find something that fits amazing, hugs my feet, heels don't slip. I accidentally rang my purchase twice and I'm keeping the extra pair!

Don't size up!

These shoes run true to size, dare I say even a tad big. I made the mistake of ordering a half size up from my normal size, which I typically do in running shoes to have a bit of extra room, but you do not need to do that with these shoes. I feel like they already included that tiny bit of extra room already so order your normal size. It's a pretty comfortable shoe but my left foot fell asleep, went all tingly, 5 minutes into my first run and I couldn’t shake the numbness. It was really annoying and uncomfortable. I finally stopped to loosen the laces and it helped a bit but didn’t fully make that numb “asleep” feeling go away. Unfortunately, this happened every time I ran in them no matter what. I really wanted to like these shoes but for some reason my feet did not like them. I even started to get a small blister on the back of my left heal as well. Maybe the fact that they were a bit big played into that but I honestly didn’t love them enough to try again with a smaller size. Also, it feels like the heel of the shoe is slightly dropped. At times it felt like my heel was “sinking” lower than the rest of my foot. I never felt that on a run so it didn’t bother me then but I did feel it just walking or standing around the house. Overall, it’s a comfortable shoe but with my foot falling asleep and that weird heel drop, it’s not for me.

Super comfy shoe

Nikes are my go-to for running shoes! The React Miler 2 shoes are definitely comfortable and stylish! I love the hint of neon green against white. I prefer these more for brisk walks, cross training, or when I’ll be on my feet all day. They are a bit too thick and heavy when it comes to my running shoe preference. These have the high quality and appeal you can expect from Nike. Overall, a great shoe for exercising!

Super Cushy Road Runner

If you are looking for a zero drop shoe, these are not for you! However, if you are looking for a cushy road shoe that will give you some of the forward momentum feel, these ARE for you! Uppers and collar are stiff to start. They ran a half size smaller than my usual Nike size (typically a 10.5, sometimes an 11; street size 10; I should've gotten an 11 here) - which caused my padded tab socks to slip slightly and a gnarly blister to form on our maiden voyage. Out of the box, these super cute runners had a beautiful colorway and I almost felt bad taking them out in our muddy spring roads. The midsole felt a bit stiff in my hand, but I appreciated the structure in action. As someone with aging joints and the pandemic 20 (oof - that sucks to admit), the heel cushion seemed excessive at rest but was absolutely heavenly in action. No aches or instability! I'm not typically one to wear my running shoes for anything other than running, but for the sake of this review, I wore them while running errands, bike riding, and playing in the yard with my kids. Initial blister aside, these shoes are super comfortable and would be great as everyday shoes for someone on their feet a lot or prone to fatigue with their current shoes. No issues needing to retie during the day like I sometimes have with Nike laces! Overall, great shoe with a tiny break-in period. I'd recommend sizing up a half size from your normal Nike size and wearing slightly taller socks while the stiffness in the collar wears down.

Great Running Shoe!

These shoes are lightweight and very comfortable. They are more lightweight than my previous pair of running shoes, which I really like about them. I have fairly high arches and these shoes provided the right amount of support for me. I didn't feel as though I needed to break in the shoes at all before I could use them while running. My feet felt really cushioned and stable in these shoes. I like the design of the shoes - the pop of bright green adds a little bit extra to the otherwise neutral shoe. I would wear these as a casual shoe, as well. They are cute and stylish. I also really like the tab on the back of the shoe; it makes them very easy to put on. If one runs outdoors, I would think the white bottom would get dirty quickly. I usually run a mile or two a day, indoors, and this was a great shoe for my needs.
