Web ID: 15494778Great Bible, can be a bit overwhelming
I love the layout of this Bible, but I feel like the placement of devotionals, essays and such, can be a bit overwhelming. If devotionals were placed at the beginning of each book, and side notes saved for the end, it may flow easier. I start to read & get side tracked reading an essay, 4 paragraphs at the bottom providing explanations & definitions. It can be a lot to take in.

Misinformation
Some people are reporting that there are bible verses missing. Yes this is true. Those bible verses are missing in (all) the NIV version bibles. Careful research will explain to you why those verse were not included in. We must not be quick to make a judgment call with finding out the reason as why.

Missing Scripture
There are verses left out in this Bible. Matthew 17:21 and Matthew 18:11 are not in this Bible and probably more verses are left out.

Good Quality Overall
This is a beautiful book and well put together in many ways. It is larger print and has some interesting resources within. The one caveat is the writing that I found on Witches. As I have studied World Religions, Wicca has been included in this. While the person obviously did some research to answer this question, they put a spin on this abstract which is completely false. 1. Witches do not use the word "Satanic" as this is a Christian word. 2. Witches are very clear of ethics in majick. They know that if they were to engage in "black" majick they would suffer some consequences, i.e., karma or what comes around goes around. This is not something that people would engage in unless they were foolish. There is a dark side to everything in life. You can use your power for good or evil. Lets not forget all the ministers who have sexually abused children and adults for their own benefit. As a psychotherapist, I have interviewed many people who have been a victim to this. We have learned about this on the news over and over again. Judge not, lest ye be judged.
