Fantastic!
This was a fantastic book to read! I will admit that I had trouble reading this book at first. I felt like the beginning was slow-moving and not very action-packed as I initially thought. On the other hand, the second half of the book kept me so captivated. I couldn't stop reading it! One of the main characters I loved throughout majority of the book. There were a couple instances that I was getting a little irritated with her thought process and decision-making. At the same time, Marney did such an amazing job giving background information on the characters as well as being very descriptive during the action parts. It definitiely gave me "Silence of the Lambs" vibes, even though the book fell a little short from it. I would totally recommend this to anyone who loves psychological thrillers or suspenseful reads!

Good, but not as deep as I expected
This is my first YA thriller book. Based on the other reviews, I really did expect more of an accessible Silence Of The Lambs-type story, but I think it just fell a little short of what I had hoped. I think it could have dove deeper into some of the back story and some of the plot was spoiled too early. Still recommended read, but don't expect too much. I also listened to the audiobook while reading and that might have given away some of the secrets, so maybe avoid doing that.
