So I seldom write reviews as I should because I do love reading them. This set is very beautiful and came packaged very well. I’m very happy w purchase except that Noritake thought it was a good idea to put huge UPC stickers on all 50 items in the box!!! I swear they were super glued on and they even stuck them on the inside of each cup! just ridiculous! took me over an hour to pull each off and get glue residue off. Noritake is you’re selling as a set don’t be tacky and put a sticker on every dish!
The gift was well received. Made Mum very happy. It arrived on time, and looked great.
I purchased the 50 piece set in 2020 and its held up nicely- no scratches or chipping. The details on the border are super intricate yet, elegant & simple at the same time. This is my first 'nice' set of dinnerware and I'm really glad to of picked this one. Just a few warnings: 1) Not microwave safe- due to metallic details 2) They are fragile and will break if you drop them or knock over with force. But, not so thin that you'd never want to use. I just foolishly sacrificed a cup by swinging my arms around at the table. Get it- you won't regret it
I ordered this set to extend a set I already own. My family is growing and I needed additional place settings. It is sturdy and works for any occasion.
I wanted to complete my plate setting and I was fortunate to find it and now I am complete.
