I love that it is dishwasher safe. I like to use it for special meals, formal occasions, nice dinners with friends. A lady in the store told us that this type of china can dry out and become more brittle without regular use. I figure with such an attractive pattern it is the perfect "reason" to use them more!

This pattern incorporates a classic feel with a modern look. The silver leaf pattern is enough to keep the set from being too plain, and is quite beautiful whether on display in our china cabinet or being used for a formal dinner. They are easy to clean and we have so far not had any issues with chipping or cracking. In addition, through the breakage replacement program, we quickly and easily received a replacement piece for our sugar bowl, which broke when we moved. The customer service matches the product in terms of excellence. I highly recommend Noritake china.
