Two Pieces Tied Together to Make the Length

The blue beaded garland was pretty and had a flexible quality, which made it great for decorating. I would have rated it higher, but I was surprised to find when I laid out the garland that two pieces had been tied together in order to make it the length matching the description. I am unable to untie the two pieces and have this awkward-looking X-shape in the garland, which is quite obvious. I purchased a teal beaded garland, too, and in that garland there were no two pieces tied together to make the length.
