Nikki Spalaris cookie recipe, missing ingredient?
I just made the white chocolate chip/cranberry cookies from from her friend Nikki Spalaris and my cookies were a FLOP! Wondering if there are missing ingredients??? 4 cups of flour, 4 sticks of butter and one cup of sugar along with the chips and cranberries….no eggs, baking powder or soda, salt… nothing else??? Anyone else make them and have issues?

Insightful, Meaningful, Great Pics
I have been a Reba fan for more years than I can count so I snatched this up as soon as I saw it. Not That Fancy by Reba McEntire is a delightful glimpse into her world. She truly aims to live simply and according to her own terms. She works hard, plays harder, and delights in sharing her wisdom and insights with fans. In this collection, Reba focuses on her roots coming from Oklahoma and the things she enjoys in life. The recipes are included are mouthwatering and I cannot wait to try them out in my own kitchen. Reading this book truly feels like you are sitting down over a good meal or a drink and listening to Reba share her stories with you. The multitude of pictures is an added bonus. The entries are thoughtful and meaningful and left me smiling many times. Thank you Reba, for sharing another piece of yourself with your fans. I received a complimentary copy from the publisher via NetGalley and all opinions expressed are solely my own, freely given.

great down-to-earth advice
Not That Fancy: Simple Lessons on Living, Loving, Eating, and Dusting Off Your Boots by Reba McEntire is a memoir with lots of great and down-to-earth advice. I listened to the audiobook, which is narrated by the author. Actress and country music legend Reba McEntire shares many stories, recipes, and Oklahoma-style truths that guide her life. The physical version has a ton of photos and recipes. Reba really explains the goal of her memoir pretty well: "That’s what I'm sharing in this book—some simple, not-that-fancy truths I live by and a bunch of good stories, photos, and recipes that go along with them. So if you're looking to slow down, get back to basics, and have a heckuva lot of fun, I think we're going to have a good time together in these pages." I've been a fan of her for a long time. I grew up listening to her music, I love the movie Tremors, and I watched her show Reba with my family. She seems so down to earth throughout this memoir, especially so when she notes how tickled she was when people create TikTok videos of themselves doing normal tasks like taking out the trash while her song "I'm a Survivor" is playing. I especially love her true laughter that shines through when she's telling some of her stories. You can feel her pain when she describes sadder moments as well. This would be a great coffee table book for her fans, or a cookbook to keep in the kitchen thanks to the recipes in the back.

Wonderful book
Reba is down to earth and raw unhinged and telling the truth about her life and how when we get dirty and we fall we pick up and dust ourselves off then move on I can't put it down it was real and it's not always rainbow and pixie dust it's real honest true emotion then poetic wording to from growing up rodeo barrel racing to singing to the first love and then how that passing then divorce to cooking to open up a restaurant to close friends and from inner and outer circle and then a Grandma and dating a great... (Jealous) in a good way that Rex is treating her like a lady and a woman who knows what values of work ethic and how she gave for then realize she was very helpful and expect nothing back then got a lot of honors and included then of the Kennedy center honors and she recognized her achievement and she did things that she help fight about and she was interviewed of a song talking about hiv and she was perplexed if she was thinking about doing or not and how she was concert and COVID and she was in movies and Broadway musical and she is still kicking and food.... Her name behind the food like Dolly intense and that food is delicious and I love to make some of the recipes and how to make it with and without alcohol I think it's worth every minute of she put everything in one book and she asked Garth Brooks to ask to write the forward he was shocked and he said he would do that honor wow I think this book is going to improve impact people live and not that dance open you up and help you to be able to live better
