Interesting light hue

Love this lamp and it's modern sleek style. The main issue is that because of the color of the lamp shade the lamp gives off a pinkest hue. I tried several light bulbs without success. The yellow lightbulb was interesting but not what I was looking for in the living room. The lamp would only work in a room where it was the only lamp in the home so it's light source does not compete with others
