Fun Embellished Shorts

I only wish I would have found these shorts at the beginning of summer; I absolutely love a pair of shorts that are just a bit different and these with the studs down the sides are just that. I sized up, I normally wear a size 26 and opted for the 27 (for reference 5'4" 120ish, athletic build) I wanted a looser fit with plenty of room in the thigh area and I wanted them to sit a little lower, by sizing up they hit a little below my belly button and still look fine, I got the look I wanted. The fabric is a sturdy denim and there is not a lot of stretch, they feel like a pair of cutoff jeans you've had for years, the length is perfect; they hit mid-thigh. These wash and dry beautifully, they did not shrink or unravel, I had a few strings to snip because they are a raw hem but other that all good.
