Beautiful rug but horrible packaging

This rug is beautiful, but was shipped to me folded many times into a small rectangle (it is an 8x10 rug) instead of rolled, so it has pretty significant bumps and creases that are going to take a while to work out. Not sure why such a large rug was shipped this way and not rolled up like most rugs are.

Beautiful Rug

The rug is beautiful in person, colors are just as pictured. It’s soft and vacuums beautifully. It did have a slight odor (new carpet smell) for about a week after it was unrolled and it had a bit of a bump in the middle but they both went away. Overall, very happy with my purchase. I actually ordered a 4x6 and 8x10 for other areas of the house.
