Upgrades are not worth the price tags

I recently upgraded our nutribullet from the standard 600W model to a 1200W Ultra and have been really disappointed with the performance. The 32oz containers are actually smaller in the upgrade (taller but thinner design) which reduces the size of what you can make. And the motor does not run as smoothly as the 600W.

So glad I went back to nutribullet!

Makes delicious smoothies, so simple to use and easy to clean, glad to go back to a nutribullet after the expensive one I bought turned out to be a pain to clean!!! With the nutribullet I load up, hit go and there’s my lovely smoothie! I rinse the blade under the tap, slurp away happily until my tasty smoothie (with hidden veg!) is all gone, then I rinse off the cup bit and every so often pop in the top shelf of the dishwasher for a good blast. Easy! Another bonus is it looks swish on my worktop and doesn’t take up loads of room like the bulky ones.

Nutribullet is Awesome!

I bought this to mix up protein powders… shaking was not enough! But this one is so powerful I can use it to make iced shakes, or throw frozen fruit into a vanilla powder. And it is the perfect size for one person. the big blender was just too much for a single person drink. I’m using it almost daily! And it looks great, very little space on the counter. Hit the button and it is an automated 30 second blend. I’m a huge fan now!

Improved design

First time user.

I’ve only used it twice for a smoothie and once for hummus. It made a good smoothie with frozen berries. It struggled a bit with hummus as too dry and I needed to keep opening it up and adding more oil. This would definitely have been easier with an upright liquidiser. It is noisy but I’ve nothing to compare it with except my ancient magimix, and it’s louder than that.
