Excellent replacement for discontinued NARS Oaxaca

It's always tricky when your favorite cosmetic is discontinued and it can take FOREVER to find a replacement hack, but NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil in Iced Mocha is such a close match for NARS's former Oaxaca Velvet Shadow Stick (it's only a hair warmer in tone) that I don't even mind that you have to use a pencil sharpener. I would mark it down to 4 stars for having to sharpen it, but the price is so low (1/3 of the price of Laura Mercier or NARS Eyeshadow sticks) that I had to bump it back up to 5. Plus, less waste if you're using a sharpener instead of throwing away a plastic twist-up container. It stays on all day and it's not too shiny... there's some shimmer, but no glitter, thankfully. I used to work at Sephora and I learned that there is ZERO reason to spend $$$ on premium brands, outside of some skincare and haircare. NYX and ColourPop make fantastic stuff.
