Beautiful but LONG!

These pants fit perfectly and are beautiful, but they are far too long for an average female. I'm 5'4 and I would have needed to cut at least 3 inches off for the length to be right. I gave them to a friend that was the same size as I am but taller. For the size L that I purchased I think you would need to be at least 5'6" for the length to be suitable.
