No thanks. Not for me

I am a classic size large and ordered a medium in this dress. It’s big. The bottom is a weird parachute material and the top is like a ribbed tank material. Where they meet is well above your belly button. It just makes me look frumpy and it’s just not for me. Unfortunately, I thought washing it would shrink it a bit and all would be right in the world…… it didn’t help. So now I can’t return.
