Pinch Your Cheeks Powder Blush
Product details
Web ID: 7015591Disappointing
I love Origins products but this blush was quite disappointing. No matter the brush (I tried a few) the blush never makes it from the container to your cheeks. I was looking for a nice every day blush but this was a waste of money.

Easy and Flawless
I love this stuff! It is light and shimmery but doesn't add so much shimmer that I look like a 16 year old. Origins quality is amazing!

Love the Sweet Shimmer
While shopping for the new foundation I asked to try a blush which I usually don't like. The guide suggested Sweet Shimmer and showed me the best way to apply it for my skin and face shape. She applied it very subtly. It was really flattering so I bought it.

This Blush didn't work for me
I really wanted to like this blush. I bought it months ago. You brush and brush and you just don't see any color. In fact, it's so dim it's as if you just didn't have any blush on at all. I won't be buying this again. Really disappointed with this Origins product.
I will never buy this product again
I am so disappointed in the changes in the Origins blushes - all the pretty containers and packaging are gone, but more importantly the product is terrible. I purchased the Rose Dust blush last week and blush brush/power brush is all that is now available and the product doesn't even adhere to the brush, so I'm definitely not getting any pigment applied to my face. I've tried other brushes, and same thing - no color transfers to my face. This is the only color even remotely close to my neutral fair skin tone. What happened? Why the cheap products without any good color options? The blushes, lipsticks and glosses were great - why did you have to change the product and ruing the containers and packaging? This used to be the best make up line. This has been the only make up line I could wear since it was founded because it was one of the first lines to go talc free, but now, I can't find any make up colors that work for me in the Origins line. I'm so disappointed. Please, please, please Origins, fix this, please go back to your roots with the green and offwhite packaging with the pretty dark green tree and Origins logo, bring back pretty colors and lip glosses and the dark green handled make up brushes (they were my favorite). Good brands don't change their packaging or branding, good brands with life long customers have the same packaging and branding. I loved Origins. I event got my sisters hooked on it in the 90's. I miss the old Origins.

Will Not Re-Purchase
I have had this blush for over a year now and it gets a weird hard film over the top of it. I clean my brushes regularly and clean this film off CONSTANTLY. The color is nice, and if the film is cleaned off then it applies decent.

LOVE THIS BLUSH
I have used this color of blush for a long time. I have a light complexion. It adds the right amt of color. It stays all day. Hope Origins will always offer this color.

Why all the negatives?
I like this product. It goes on smoothly and stays most of the day. I am currently using sweet toffee - it has a nice non pink fall look. I have very fair skin and this is a darker color - but I found a way to make it work for me. I put it on with a blush brush (it looks really dark) - then I use a kabuki brush to blend it in - and if it still looks too dark I go over it with the powder (silk screen powder) using my kabuki brush. It really blends and lightens to a more natural color on my face. I find this blush has good staying power and lasts most of the day. I am wondering it those that say the color is too light - or it doesn't last and selecting too light of color. Don't be afraid to go bolder - and then tone it down with blending techniques and finishing powder. Also I think using finishing powder helps it stay on better. I use this with fudge it and toasted sesame eye color with this. I also use malt color matte stick lipstick. I rated this 4 stars as the lids broke off of my other two blushers early on. I keep my make-up in a basket at home - so there was no rough treatment nor getting knocked around in my purse.
