Great Swing

This is a very attractive swing. One of the back rest supports was cracked. These folks sent an entire back rest assembly. Great customer service. Will buy from them again.

Solid Furniture

I am hoping this review stands up. This is very straightforward to assemble, came in just two days. There were a couple of pieces that did not line up perfectly, but just a drill and a drill bit will have you back on track immediately. So far very impressed with the look and feel. This should last a long time. The base that you sit on and the backs to it are already put together, you just assemble the back to the bottom and the A frame and are good to go, so was far less assembly than first imagined.

The predrilled holes that are supposed to be where the chairbacks "fit into" are misdrilled and off over half an inch. The options are to drill it out larger in order to fit the chairbacks into the holes, which would then be too large and cause the chairback to slip around, OR to force them into the predrilled holes (which I opted for) and this causes the soft wood to split (which it did) and thus you must improvise and try to reinforce the support braces yourself, or toss the entire thing into a fire pit. These pictures depict what imperfect precision drilling will get you. I recommend that you pay more money and buy a higher quality product.

Excited for our new swing

The swing is a wonderful part of our patio now. Easy to assemble. This did come in two packages, which delivered on different days. We also lost a brace, as it had a crack in it and when we went to install, the brace split. I do not believe this is a usual thing, as I ordered this swing and 4 other wooden benches that match and every other part for all of them were sturdy and in good shape. I am hopeful Aosom will take care of us for the defective brace.

Very well engineered

The instructions was pretty easy to follow, made it easier for me. I like the fact that it will hold a lot of weight, the design and engineering is evident that it will last. All in all it will be a very enjoyable summer!

Nice swing for the price!

The swing is very nice but you will need to sand it down and put a real protective coating on it (stain or paint) because the coating it comes with gets eaten up by the sun in no time and the wood gets discolored in those places. The holes for the arms came drilled on the wrong side so I have to look at the hole with lug nuts showing when I am sitting in it, rather than a finished look. But other than these two negatives, it is a very nice swing and I am enjoying using it! My kitty likes sitting next to me when I am on it too, so it truly does seat two! ha ha
