An absolute no. Have been using kitchen sales for 6 years now to properly portion meals and eat healthy. This was really disappointing. First, it is not an absolute white as shown. The glass top reflects so it is not opaque. Second, it lacks enough sensitivity to touch. I was pressing tare 3-5x to make it work. Another scale I've used is touch, and not only does it work but a sound accompanies the button press so you know it worked. This one doesn't. Lastly, the most ridiculous is... The button to switch between grams and ounces IS ON THE BOTTOM. Many times I need to see both and I can't constantly lift off my food items to lift it and switch. Returning.

it is very nice and small very good for the kitchen, it works very well. the batteries did not work that was the only thing.
