Amazing Lamp for Wide/Large Desks, Great Lighting

Let me be honest that I asked for this lamp for Christmas from my in-laws without fully considering how large it actually is. I have a vintage desk that is about 54" wide by 39" deep, so the lamp works well on my desk. I mainly use a laptop and work past the natural daylight, and the light coverage for both laptop use, as well as reading/writing is fantastic. You just don't get this kind of light coverage from a normal desk lamp. The construction is timeless and I could see passing this onto my children. The adjustable arm is solid and tightens no problem, with a (solid?) brass weight on it that is impressive. Again, when you unpack this lamp, you will think it's for a floor lamp, but once on your desk and using it, you will be happy you got it!
